Lexi Dunbar
Growing up in Hip Hop Kidz from age 6 years old through high school, has given our HHK Alumni and top instructor Lexi, great perspective and insight regarding teaching the Hip Hop Kidz methodology.
Lexi has a unique ability to bond with her students. While possessing incredible humor and warmth, she is a favorite teacher and choreographer amongst our youngest to oldest dancers. Her additional vast experience as a teacher’s assistant in Dade county Public schools and as an elementary school.
Deon Cross
One of our most popular and lovable instructors, Deon AKA “Happy Feet” is affectionately known as the Pied Piper of Hip Hop. Deon’s experience as a former Hip Hop Kid, performing numerous times on many notable stages, brings a rich experience to our team of teachers.
Deon is also a teacher in Broward county schools. This professional dancer and freestyler has competed in numerous Red Bull “Dance Your Style” battles and placed in top categories, both regionally and nationally. Deon’s smile and personality will totally win you over, whether on the dance floor or in class.
Brandon Bryant
Brandon is a celebrated figure in the dance industry. His list of credentials include Season 5 of “So You Think You Can Dance”, where he was crowned first runner-up and top male dancer. His career has since skyrocketed, including:

Brooklyn Crawford
Brooklyn began dancing as a Hip Hop kid at the tender age of 9 and experienced many training years moving up the ranks in all of our top crews. Brooklyn was one of the most outstanding female dancers in our highest level Dade Crew, where she appeared in numerous music videos, corporate events and TV projects.
She is known for her beautiful, yet Originally dance style that many of our young dancers try to emulate. Brooklyn attended Nova South Eastern University where she earned a masters degree in behavioral therapy and is one of the most loved dancers and choreographers in our program. She now co-directs our Broward production company with Ashaunti Spencer.
Rain Rodriguez
Rain possesses a great rapport and teaching style with our youngest Pee Wee Hio Hop Kidz, ages 3-4, to our Hip Hop One beginner students, our special needs dancers, and even our adult hip hop classes alike. A warm and caring soul, Rain is always inspirational, fun and so creative. He is one of the most positive people we know and his skills range from old and new school Hip Hop choreography to crumping, tutting, free-styling and more!
Ashaunti Spencer
Since the age of 12 Ashaunti spent years training in our Hip Hop Kidz academy and rose all the way to our top level. Blessed to have her on staff as a teacher/choreographer, Ashaunti integrates a variety of inspirational methods in her teaching style, from her incredible, one of a kind sense of humor, to her strong and unique approach to hip hop dance choreography. Ashaunti inspires our dancers to feel a love for various dance hip hop styles as the Co-Director of the Broward Production Co.
Cassidy Tarajos
Michigan born Cassidy has a very diverse background having trained and competed for 15 years in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and hip hop dance. Cassidy attends Nova Southeastern University, where in addition to her studies, she is on the dance team known as The Sharketts and performs at numerous University sporting, and community events. Cass is an elegant and athletic dancer, and is especially talented in teaching our lil ones. With her patience and personality, our beginner dancers have truly taken to her and look forward to seeing her weekly in our classes.
